Andy Bueso

Formal Education:

In 1976 graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, S J, PR. In 1981 went on to complete his Masters in Fine Arts. at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York, USA. 

In 1992 he was awarded a Doctorate ad Honorem from the International Academy of Contemporary Art, Brussels, Belgium. 

Professional career:​

1986-88  Professor. Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, Metropolitan Campus, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

1987-1989  Activities Coordinator. Pratt Office of Alumni Resources, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

1985-2000  Founder and Professor. Academia de Arte Bueso, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

1985-2000  President and Art Director. Arte de Nuestra Tierra, Inc., San Juan, Puerto Rico.

1988-2000  President of American Delegation. Asociación Internacional Plástica Latina, Paris, France.

Exhibitions: 

Andy Bueso’s  professional career extended for three decades. He presented his art works multiple times in his home land and outside of Puerto Rico. He made more than twenty five individual exhibitions locally and some seventeen shows at important international venues. Some of the most prominent are:
